The Asian Architects in the Academe Assembly 2026, organized by the Committee on Research and Academic Institution (CRAI) of the United Architects of the Philippines–Commission on Education (UAP-COE), is an international conference on architectural education to be held at the SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City, Philippines. With the theme “Transitioning Towards the 3+2 Curriculum in Alignment with ASEAN Architectural Education Standards,” the assembly gathers educators, researchers, practitioners, and students to exchange ideas on the transformation of architectural education in Asia. Discussions will center on emerging technologies including AI, innovative pedagogy, curriculum development aligned with industry needs, and evolving studio culture—advancing a shared vision for a future-ready and contextually grounded architectural education across the ASEAN region.
